The converter matches the physical mouse distance required for the same camera rotation in both games. It accounts for the different sensitivity scales used by each game and calculates the corresponding setting.

How Does a Mouse Sensitivity Converter Work Between Games?
-
Does Mouse Sensitivity Depend on Screen Resolution?
No. Screen resolution doesn’t change the physical mouse distance required for the same in-game camera rotation. Resolution can change how movement looks on the screen, but it doesn’t change cm/360° when the mouse and game sensitivity settings remain the same.

Is Mouse Sensitivity the Same Across Different Windows Versions?
It can remain the same when the mouse DPI and relevant input settings are unchanged. Games that use raw mouse input generally receive movement directly from the mouse, while Windows pointer settings can affect applications that use operating system cursor input.
About
What Is a Mouse Sensitivity Converter
A mouse sensitivity converter calculates the sensitivity needed to reproduce the same turning distance when moving from one game to another. Games use different sensitivity scales, so a value of 1.0 in CS2 doesn’t produce the same mouse movement as 1.0 in VALORANT, Apex Legends, or another shooter. The converter accounts for these differences and provides a corresponding sensitivity for the selected game. It’s useful when switching between games without manually testing sensitivity again, keeping the same cm/360° or in/360°, or transferring an existing setup from another FPS to CS2.
How to Use
Select the current game under Convert From, enter the sensitivity and DPI used in that game, then choose the target game under Convert To. The converter calculates the corresponding sensitivity while keeping the same physical turning distance. It also shows cm/360°, in/360°, and eDPI for the current setup. The Mini Unit Converter below can separately convert measurements between centimetres, metres, inches, and feet.
Setting | What It Does |
|---|---|
Convert From | Selects the game where the current sensitivity is used. |
Sensitivity | Sets the current in-game sensitivity. |
DPI | Sets the mouse DPI used with the current sensitivity. |
Input Format | Selects the format used for the sensitivity input. |
CM/360° | Shows the physical mouse movement required for one complete 360-degree turn in centimetres. |
IN/360° | Shows the same full-turn distance in inches. |
eDPI | Shows the effective DPI calculated from mouse DPI and in-game sensitivity. |
Convert To | Selects the game for which a new sensitivity will be calculated. |
Mini Unit Converter | Converts physical measurements between supported units. |
Input Value | Sets the measurement that will be converted. |
Output Format | Selects the unit used for the converted result. |
Output Value | Shows the converted measurement. |
